Read Richard Powers’ moving, Pulitzer Prize-winning novel “The Overstory”
I don’t read a ton of fiction, about one for every ten non-fiction titles, so when I do pick up a novel I want to make sure I’m hitting a home run. The Overstory delivered.
This novel is such a moving testament to the power of nature and the folly of man. My favorite line: “We’re cashing in a billion years of planetary savings bonds and blowing it on assorted bling.”
